CGS Boiler Servicing
Typically, a boiler service will consist of approximately 30 checks, but this will vary with different appliances and manufacturers.
Our highly experienced, Gas Safe registered engineers have over 20 years’ experience to ensure a professional and knowledgeable service.
We always service your boiler in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and only use genuine parts.

What does a boiler service involve?
For HE Boilers (High Efficiency)
Preliminary System Checks:
• Visual inspection of the appliance
• Tightness test
• Fuse rating
• Conductors secure
• Mains bonding
• Flue guard & Flue gas analyser
• Condense trap and pipework
• Burner seals & electrodes
Boiler Servicing:
• Remove and clean condense trap
• Replace burner seal if required
• Clean heat exchanger if required
• Adjust gas valve to achieve greater efficiency if required
SE (Standard Efficiency)
Preliminary System Checks:
• Visual inspection of appliance
• Tightness test
• Fuse rating
• Conductors secure,
• Mains bonding
• Flue guard
• Flue gas analyser
• Condense trap and pipework
• Burner seals
• Electrodes
Boiler Servicing:
• Clean burners/injectors/flue ways
• Check pilot flame
• Burner pressure (adjusted if required)
• Operating thermostat
• High limit thermostat
• Flue flow performance checks
• Spillage checks
• Door seals
• Flue guard
• Check high and low-level ventilation
